Sihoon Yang is a partner at Yoon & Yang LLC, and his main practice areas are employment and labor, corporate-related civil and criminal litigations, and Japan.

Mr. Yang retired as a High Court Judge at the Seoul High Court after nearly 20 years in the judiciary, serving as a Judge, Chief Judge, and High Court Judge in various courts. During his six years at the Seoul High Court, he gained extensive experience, specializing in the Labor Affairs Division (handling illegal dispatch, ordinary wages, wage peak systems, employee status, and dismissal) and handling numerous injunction cases in the Appellate Division (concerning shareholders’ meetings and bidding status). Mr. Yang also has experience studying abroad in Japan.

Since joining YOON & YANG LLC., Mr. Yang utilizes his judicial expertise to achieve multiple litigation victories in labor disputes (including illegal dispatch and dismissal) and actively handles numerous cases involving wage systems, unfair labor practices, and serious accidents. His successes include securing non-indictment and internal investigation closure dispositions in Serious Accident and Industrial Safety and Health Act violation cases, obtaining dismissals of warrants in corporate chairman cases, and achieving notable results in Election Law violations and injunctions for confirmation of bidding eligibility.
